UAS Aerochute Systems is an Australian company with 20 years experience in the manufacture of Powered Parachutes, Parachute Recovery Systems for Unmanned Aircraft application, and the Aerochute Unmanned Systems.
The UAS airframe and powerplant will be fully customisable to mission requirements. The Aerochute Unmanned Systems can accommodate various canopy designs to fit mission specific payload platforms currently to a maximum useful payload weight of 300 Kilograms. The Unmanned Aerochute Systems (UAS) is a fully autonomous platform with a wide range of mission capabilities.
Typical missions are:
-Airborne precision guided cargo delivery
-Surveilance
-Humanitarian food and medical delivery
-Covert operations
The Aerochute Unmanned Systems can be operated by an onboard pilot, by remote control from the ground, or fully autonomous via Ground Control Station with range up 50 Kilometres. Range can also greatly increase with optional SATCOM module.
The Aerochute Unmanned Systems can also be configured as a strap-on module for airborne cargo deployment which greatly increases the systems flexibilty in cargo deployments. The onboard GPS based autopilot and inertial navigation system features real time mission datalink, and remote command and control capability by an operator using Ground Control Station (GCS). The GCS allows the operator to monitor the UAS mission as well as changing mission parameters in real time. With optional Satellite Communication datalink, the UAS can be operated from anywhere in the world.
